Nov 28, 2017Generally speaking CBN wheels are for grinding on harden steels only. Such as most tool steels. I found out the hard way trying to sharpen some carbide endmills using a CBN wheel, it don't work! Not to say they don't have something for carbide. So far, I've only been able to use diamond matrix grinding wheels for grinding carbide.
